Just finished with a rebuild on a 2505, the amp runs very warm at idle after 15 min you can still hold your hand on top of the cage though I think most for the heat is coming from the two 3600 ohm 10 watt resistors directly under the heat sinks and the 400 ohm 5 watt resistor in power supply
